Armelle Club: reviews on trading with a broker, cooperation terms

Regulators are fighting fraudulent companies and adding them to their blacklists. However, this does not always work – due to traders’ negligence, they still register on such platforms and trust scams with their money. According to reviews, many have lost significant amounts because of this. In this material, we will talk about Armelle Club. Sharaga has also set its sights on newcomers, with domestic traders falling into the risk zone. We will explain in detail why we think so.

What does Armelle Club represent?

According to legend, Armelle Club has been providing brokerage services for 12 years. The company positions itself as international, but its website is only available in one version – Russian. This clearly indicates that scammers are targeting investors from CIS countries, including Russia.

The platform itself does not inspire trust. Poor design, minimal specifics, but with plenty of errors and obvious mistakes. Obviously, the site was put together hastily to start working quickly and deceive traders.

Upon checking the whois information, it was found that the site has not been around for 12 years, but since 2017, with data in the web archive only available from 2018. Specialized resources value it at just 14 rubles.

The scammers did not skimp on quality preparation of the legend or promoting their resource. They don’t need it because phone scammers call victims, and most users come to their platform already primed.

There are no reviews about Armelle Club’s support, making it difficult to judge the quality of assistance. Available channels include several emails, a feedback form (all used by scammers to collect users’ personal information), and a fake phone number that is unreachable. Counting on prompt issue resolution is clearly not advisable.

Legal Information

The platform states that Armelle Club is based in the UK at the address: 24 Arcadia Ave, London, United Kingdom, N3 2JU. This is a business center with many organizations. Scammers deliberately chose it to easily blend in.

In the web archive, an old version of the Armelle Club site was found, where the footer still displayed the company’s registration number – 10120040. Checking it against the Companies House database revealed that an organization with this name does exist, but for the past 2 years, it has been specializing in wholesale trading and has no connection to brokerage activities.

Armelle Club naturally lacks a license from the local regulator (the scammers don’t even mention such a document). The UK Financial Conduct Authority, known for strict intermediary supervision, would never overlook a fake company.

Considering that the only website version is in Russian, Armelle Club should have obtained permission from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (in accordance with the requirements of 460-FZ). However, financial fraudsters ignore local legislation requirements, and they are not among the licensees.

Furthermore, during our review preparation, we learned that just recently Roskomnadzor, at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office, blocked the Armelle Club platform (between September 17-19, about 40 other financial sites were also added to the scammers list):

According to experienced traders’ reviews, dealing with such money collectors does not lead to anything good. People lose tens of thousands of dollars. Relying on the country’s main regulator for help in resolving the issue is not advisable, as they have repeatedly warned about the dangers of working with illegal financial companies. Your only option is to write negative reviews and seek help from professional lawyers to attempt chargebacks.

What trading opportunities does Armelle Club offer?

Armelle Club promises access to trading currency pairs and CFDs on:

  • commodities,
  • stock indices,
  • stocks.

Beginners are kindly offered a demo account. However, this is just bait, like bonuses and training. The main goal for scammers is to lure in novices, who will then be persuaded to top up their balance.

There is only one trading account on the Armelle Club platform, and we were unable to find a decent description of the conditions. It’s all empty phrases about no slippage, requotes, commissions, one-click execution, 24/7 support. The only specific detail mentioned is the deposit size – $1,000.

As trading software, Armelle Club offers the outdated MetaTrader 4 platform. From reviews, we know that this software, controlled by scammers, easily manipulates quotes and charts, draining users’ deposits into their pockets.

Traders’ Reviews

There are no reviews about the company Armelle Club in the Russian segment, and reviews from foreign forums were not found. However, given the aggressive advertising campaign, the situation may change soon, so be cautious.

If you have worked with the pseudo-intermediary Armelle Club, share your story with others. Tell the truth in your review to warn others.

How do they scam money at Armelle Club?

As a result of an expert review, it was found out how the scam operates at Armelle Club. Pay attention to the following screenshot:

Each newcomer is assigned a personal curator by scammers. Don’t think this is to help you learn trading quickly and start earning. All recommendations from the fraudulent company’s employee will only lead to deposit losses. Trying to prove your point is useless – the scammers warned that trading in financial markets carries risks. It all boils down to the fact that you should have used your own judgment rather than relying on others’ advice.

What did the independent review show?

Armelle Club cannot be trusted! These scammers target newcomers, whom they can feed lies and convince that trading in financial markets, even without knowledge, can bring in millions. It’s all a blatant lie; the scammers at Armelle Club don’t even execute deals on the interbank market. They simply stage a cheap show to lure new investments from users.
